Add-ons store
Add-ons are extra modules you can switch on for your shop when you need them, such as the kitchen display, QR table ordering, loyalty points or ZATCA Phase 2. In the add-ons store you see what your shop already has, what you can add, start a free trial in one click, and pay for a period online. An add-on switches on at once for everyone in your shop.
Who can use it
Only the shop owner. Open Settings › Add-ons. Staff do not see this page; if they need an add-on, they ask the owner.
The add-ons page
At the top, the tiles show your Active add-ons, how many are On free trial, and how many are Available to add. Choose a tile, or Show: All, Active, Available, to filter the cards.
Each card shows the add-on's name, what it is Part of (when it comes inside a bigger add-on), a short description, up to five things it includes, and its state:
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Included in your plan | It comes with your subscription. Nothing to pay: it comes with your plan |
| Free trial · N days left | A trial is running |
| Active until date | Paid up to that date |
| Active | Switched on for you, for example by support |
| Not active | You can add it |
The price shows as the cheapest period, for example "99.00 / 30 days · 3 options". Some add-ons show Ask support for the price instead.
Try an add-on free
- Find the add-on and choose Try free for N days.
- The trial starts at once and you see "your free trial has started". The add-on's pages appear in the menu for everyone in your shop.
Each add-on can be tried once per shop.
Buy an add-on
- Choose Buy on the card (or Add more time if you already pay for it).
- In the window, Choose a period. The summary shows the price, VAT if any, and the Total.
- Under Pay with, pick a payment provider. Test mode marks a provider that is not taking real money.
- Choose Pay. You finish paying on the provider's secure page; card details never reach Infotech POS.
- You come back to the add-ons page, which confirms the payment: Payment received, with the add-on active until a date and the invoice.
If you buy more time while a period is running, The paid period starts when the current one ends. Otherwise it switches on as soon as the payment is confirmed.
If the page says Payment not confirmed yet, the provider has not answered. The add-on switches on by itself when it does; do not pay again. Payment failed and Payment cancelled mean nothing was charged.
When a page is locked
If someone opens a page whose add-on your shop does not have (it was never added, a trial ended, or it was switched off), they see "… is not enabled for this shop" instead of the page:
- The owner sees See it in Add-ons, which opens the store on that add-on, and Check again.
- Staff are told to ask the shop owner, with Go to dashboard and Check again.
Check again reloads your add-ons, for example right after the owner started a trial on another computer.
Good to know:
- Some add-ons need another one first. Their card says "Needs … first."
- When your shop is read-only because the plan ran out, the page shows Your shop is read-only with Renew now. Renew your plan first (see Your subscription and billing).
- An add-on switched off by support cannot be bought; contact support.
- Which add-ons are offered and their prices are set by the platform administrator (see Subscription plans and add-ons).
Examples
Trying the kitchen display. A restaurant owner wants to replace paper tickets. In Settings › Add-ons she chooses Try free for 14 days on the kitchen display. Kitchen display, Order center and Pickup screen appear under Restaurant Management straight away, and she pairs a kitchen screen in Settings › Devices.
A cashier finds a locked page. A cashier opens a bookmark to Loyalty points, which the shop's plan does not include. He sees that it is not enabled and is told to ask the owner. The owner opens the same link, chooses See it in Add-ons, buys 30 days, and the cashier chooses Check again.
