Overview

The Infotech Kitchen Display System (KDS) shows incoming orders to kitchen staff and tracks each item until it is ready.

What you need

• A tablet or screen for each kitchen station (Android, iPad, Windows, macOS or a browser)
• A staff account with permission to use the kitchen display
• A stable Wi-Fi or wired connection to your Infotech POS

How orders flow

1. A cashier, a guest at the kiosk or an online channel sends an order.
2. The KDS receives it instantly and shows it on the station that prepares those items.
3. Cooks move each item from New to Cooking to Ready.
4. When every item is ready, the order is marked ready for serving or pickup.
