Set up the agent
-
In the back office, open Restaurant Management › Kitchen printers. Add the printers with the connection Network and their IP address. The address is on the printer's self-test page: hold the feed button while switching it on.
-
Under Print agents, choose New agent key and copy the key. It is shown only once.
-
On the computer, run:
POS_SERVER=https://pos.example.com POS_AGENT_KEY=pa_… node src/agent.mjsInstead of the environment variables, you can copy
config.example.jsontoconfig.jsonand fill it in. That file is ignored by git, so keep the key there and nowhere else. -
Press Test on a printer. The page should print within a second or two.
